Álvaro Puerto has more than 25 years of experience as a businessman and entrepreneur in the healthcare sector. He is currently President and co-founder of SIES Salud. Álvaro is a business administrator, specialist in services marketing and corporate finance, and has an MBA in business administration. Mr. Puerto studied at Berkeley University of California, where he completed a senior management program, he also completed a program for presidents at The Kellogg School of Management  and at IBES he specialized in digital transformation.

His leadership has allowed him to launch innovative and efficient healthcare models in the sector, as well as win the outstanding Colombians Award from JCI.
